How AdventureX4x4 inspects and warranties demo gear
Every demo unit passes through the same Faridabad workshop that prepares new gear before it is allowed on this page. We deploy and pack down each tent, awning or chain set, check the structure, fabric, fittings and any electrics, and grade the real condition honestly rather than under a generic label. Only then is it priced against new and given a written warranty term. That inspection is the whole reason buying demo from us is different from buying used off a marketplace: you get cold-rated gear at a discount with the brand standing behind it, not an unknown item sold as-is. When you enquire, ask for the inspection notes and warranty in writing for the specific unit so the condition and cover are documented before you pay.

A demo unit is real AdventureX4x4 product that has not been sold as brand-new. It is one of three things: a show-floor or expo demonstrator that was set up and packed down for visitors to handle, a customer return that came back to us, or surplus display stock. It is not a seconds-quality reject or a parallel import. The discount reflects that the item has been opened, deployed or handled, not that anything is wrong with how it is built.
Yes. Demo units are fully inspected and warrantied before they go on sale, so you are not buying as-is with no recourse. The exact warranty term and any conditions are confirmed in writing on the specific unit before you commit, because a unit that spent two days on an expo stand and one that has seen a full season of demos are not the same. Always ask us to put the warranty terms for that particular unit in your order confirmation.
Condition varies unit by unit, which is why each one is inspected and graded individually rather than sold under a blanket promise. Most demo tents, awnings and chains show only light cosmetic handling marks and function exactly as new; some carry a scuff or a minor blemish that is purely cosmetic. We describe the real condition of each unit honestly when you enquire, including photos where it helps, so there are no surprises when it ships. Nothing goes on this page until it has passed a full functional inspection.
Demo stock is one-off and unpredictable. A unit only appears here after an expo ends, a display gets rotated, or a return clears inspection, so the page is empty whenever we have sold through what was available. A barely-handled expo demonstrator carries a smaller markdown than a unit that has been deployed many times. When a demo unit is listed, its price is shown against the standard new price so you can see the saving directly, and we will explain how that figure was reached for that specific unit.
